It will go, it has too!
The motor and tranny are bolted (in a fashion) together nbow, torque converter all done, longer dowels in the block, etc etc etc. The electrics arent as bad on an older Disco vs a P38, so that part should be easier. Not to mention the cost, I can build 4.6 to a very high standard for less coin that this will cost, but where is the fun in that?

I'm sitting at home watching the winter storm move across the midwest. Thinking that the guys down in Odessa might have to wait till Monday to get their stuff. Clear sailing if I run over the weekend and they are in no big hurry to get them..... guess I will see how it all looks in the morning when I get up.
volvodriver01 Thanks this. -
I'm about 2 hours east of Odessa - just a light dusting here.

Well I'm at home in NW Indiana and I see the crap all the way across my entire route. It's not much snow, but you know once the white stuff hits the ground anywhere south of Missouri, everything closes down and all the cars and trucks decide to park in the medians and on the shoulders...... usually upside down lolLogan76, volvodriver01 and windsmith Thank this.

I know, doesn't sound right does it? True story though. I run all 48 and Canada, stay out 2 weeks at a time and usually get 800+ mile runs that are dispatched very efficiently, so it is working out. I'm still in the honeymoon phase with Heyl, but so fat, I have nearly doubled my income and cut my physical work by at least half.

Yes, it absolutely is. The company I run for has no interest in cutting legal corners like that, so I'm not worried at all. The only time I'm really in Indiana is home time anyhow.

That's awesome...I have no intrest in running 48 ... or Canada... I have to renew my tags in January and I think I am going to cut back on some of my states if it will save me some money see if I can get it down to about 7 OH, IN, MI, KY, TN, PA, IL .... I think that should about do it...I don't have authority for Canada ... sometimes I see loads going up that way but the last time I was there in 1998 I didn't leave anything, but left with a massive headache so im cool on checking to see if they remodeled any of the 5th Wheel Truck stops
