You are much more likely to find a load out of Chicago than Mobile. If the rate was good, I'd take the Chicago load then head south. You could make some good money if you grab something Thursday or Friday and run it over the weekend and deliver it Monday. I'm just stuck going into the worst area in TX you could poss go and trying to find freight. It doesn't help that I'm also 1,300 miles away. I'm sure I could head down and get a load while I'm on my way there, but the "not knowing" would drive me crazy (that's my OCD) so I decided to stay home.
Plus the wife is off till Friday morning so that didn;t help the "let's go to work" mentality LOL
Where is everyone?

north side of Pueblo. What moron decided Pueblo needs an oversize curfew, it's only like 5 miles end to end. Only made it 150 miles today after loading. How hard is it to tell the diference between 9 wideand almost 11 wide, geez

Schiller Park, Illinois. By the time we got loaded and tarped it was too late to move today. We will take off when curfew lifts in the morning.

hey everyone hope everyone had a good christmas i had quite an eventful weekend got back on the 21st hung around the shop for a few hours helped a new guy tarp a partial in the pouring rain and wind then went and helped another guy re tarp his load after the wind took his off the load before he had a chance to bungie it and (fun fun not)
then went home picked the gf up went back up to the christmas party the next day and had a blast. boss paid for me and the g/f's and 3 other drivers motel room and all of our drinks while were up there which was nice...g/f got smashed on tequila so i had to babysit her all night (which wasnt all that bad)
then we woke up went home and on the way home i decided to stop down at the harley dealership and pick myself up a lil christmas present for myself....2012 harely street bob brand new 9 miles for $11,700 the only part that sucks is that its in winter storage till march :'(
the next day after i bought the bike i caught the friggen flu (gee i wonder how that happend) so i spent the last 2 days holding the couch down

Fisher, I bought a brand new Street bob back in 2006 when it came out. Loved the bike, but didn;t get to ride it much. Sold it to my buddy for $7,500 with 1,050 miles on it........ now I miss it

On a side note, i was able to line up a haul from Ft. Hood to Beaumont on the 2nd. Not going far, but paying pretty well. Now to just try to find a load from Beaumont out to where-ever. -
Now you get to try out Bayou's territory...I'll be interested to see the results.
SHC Thanks this.
