Where is everyone?

I just never go west is there anything out there?

 

I know a guy who works for a road company he hooks excavators (300 series) and whatever that road grinder thing is up with just binders on a RGN ... he explained how it was legal and counter pulling etc but it had me nervous and I don't think I would do it.

 

idaho falls, id for the night. at the loves... gotta load to phoenix which doesnt deliver till wednsday so its a nice casual ride down for me

 

Loaded and stopped in Matthews, MO for the night. Called to confirm, originally the load was going to try to get unloaded on Monday, but the receiver found out the worksite crew won't be there....sooo.....holding this till Wednesday. Thinking of spending some time at the Petro in Effingham before heading to Chicago area or stake out real estate closer to unload site.

If you have your Hazmat then there's freight out of Odessa and Sweetwater. Other than that, not much. The LS agent that does the loads from Odessa has non-haz loads as well. Just give him a call and see. His agent code is DMT

I made it to Texas last night. This headcold seems to be letting up a bit thank god. Shooting for Big Spring, TX T/A for a shower and some chow, then head to the Loves in Odessa for the night. My unload and load tomorrow is about 3 blocks away.

 

not for mercer there isnt and thats who he runs for.

then again i think he has a flatbed so he may be alright. i forgot that

 

Well, today didn't go so well. Just after I drove thru Abilene, TX on I-20 my transmission decided to grenade on me and left me on the side of the road. So had to have it towed to the WS dealer which of course closed 30 mins before I got it there. So now I'm sitting in a motel (seems descent so far) waiting for the heart attack in the mormning....... trucking really sucks sometimes !!!
