Wow, they were open on Sunday?

FWIW, I was in Clyde, TX (just east of Abilene) 5 days ago.

 

hate to hear about the bad luck hope it's an easy fix and not completly shot no heart attack learning to much from ya'll at least theres a deccent motel really not to much out that way that i remember hope tomorrow goes well !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yeah, they are open 7-5 MON-SAT and open 8-4 on SUN

Not sure how it's gonna turn out, but it might be finding a new home at this dealers sales lot and I might be on a plane home.....

Tranny rebuild might be right around 6k.

 

#### things always happen at the worst times maybe it's just a input or output shaft or maybe get lucky and be in the shifter bar

 

From what I've researched it seems like maybe the bolts on the clutch fork may have broken or came out. I know the clutch was replaced around the same time I bought it and I just think someone did a cheap and bad job of doing it. If need be, I'll have a new clutch installed and hopefully be back on the road soon.

 

come on. tranny rebuild.should be nothing for all that gravy you haul mabey just have to sell the spare bently

 

You know you are just going to rebuild that pretty old truck one piece at a time...I guess it starts tomorrow. The only issue will be the downtime away from home.

 

Most likely, and it's more about me losing a really good load I have lined up to pick tomorrow. Maybe since the holiday is a day away they will just let me load it Wednesday (if I can get on the road by then)
