    another lumber load for me yay....not picked up in pittsfield me 2 stopper going all the way to ny out by newburg PITA load to tarp all different sizes 13'6 high and of course tarp doesnt reach the bottom and it even starts what seemed like a blizzard while i tarp hurray for me ugh told dispatcher it's nice that he keeps me moving but i've worked harder in the last 3 weeks then i have in my life 3 weeks of muti stop short-haul lumber loads that all need to be tarped and re tarped after each delievery hell one was only 14 miles away from shipper. wait i take that back i did pick up a partial yesturday in queens ny watertight ship doors in wooden crates. i thought i died and went to heaven until i realized what city i was in. ok im finished with my rant thanx for letting me vent

    With a multi-stop load like this Im sure that a Conestoga would cut atleast 1hr off of my day!

    Well, my evening came to an abrupt end at the I-10/I-20 split here in TX. Went from rain and 40* to a blizzard and 30* in about 5 miles. Called it quits at a tiny gas station, and will retry again in the morning if I'm not snowed in. They've gotten about 6" of snow in the 1 hour I've been here. Oh well...

    and this also ruins my Friday delivery. So I'll be unloading Monday morning now along with the other 30+ drivers that loaded up in CA with me. Gonna be interesting trying to find a load out now !!

    i always thought an 8ft drop lumber tarp would be enough for a step but with this load which im sure there will be more like it if not worse a 9ft drop tarp would come in handy or a constoga would be ideal
