Yep, the J was full to the brim so I made a spot on the curb by the entrance inside the parking lot. Manager said I was fine parked there so all is good. Took a nice hot shower and now off to bed. Loading up some OS tanks in the morning headed to Mesa, AZ. Once I get thru the snow storm they are calling for up here I should be good to go hopefully.
Where is everyone?

Got my load of commercial freezer panels.
They put the straps on and handed me a torque wrench for tightening them down. About as easy as it gets.SHC Thanks this. -
Still in Von Ormy, watching the show.
Falcon driver needed a pull start apparently.
Ties strap to front bumper, flags down a mobile home toter, bobtail.
Ties strap to the toters hitch, snaps strap.
Realizes he didnt pull the 5th wheel and snaps the strap, hops out, pulls handle.
Ties strap onto bumper again, somewhere new and unbent this time.
Gets pulled again, and then realizes he didnt wind the landing gear down, trailer is now resting on drives, snaps strap again.
Reties strap yet again, winds landing gear down to the ground, and now decides to dump the air.
Gets pulled, truck starts.
Hops out and unties the strap from the toter truck, just ties it around his mirror, ready for next time.
For some reason, bobtails around the lot for 5 minutes.
Goes to hook back up, and SLAM! Front edge of trailer hits 5th wheel on truck.
When in doubt, take a run at it, is our boys motto.
Eventually gets it onto the 5th wheel, and is now driving around the parking lot aimlessly.
Backs into a different parking space, ready for it to be repeated next time.....
Ahh the entertainment.
Martinblacklabel, SHC, volvodriver01 and 1 other person Thank this. -

Well we flew back to the states. Freezing cold....
Go from 80 degree weather to -3 without the wind chill.
Got a ld. setup allready for Fri. going south..Hopefully warmer weather.
Both of us caught colds before leaving and then being on a plane for allmost 20 hours did'nt help.
Hopefully this year will be better than last year.. -
He was on the opposite end of the parking lot. There is just perimeter parking here, and the middle is all open, so no fear of the idiot hitting me. I was going to drop my trailer and pick his up with my ramps, but he just kept ramming it until it went up onto the 5th wheel.
Was a good laugh though!

Loaded up and headed south. Hoping to make Effingham tonight.

Every time I fly, I catch a cold from the plane. The worst one was being sick in Italy. I'm not a world traveler like you, but I will never leave the States again without some good ole US cold medicine
-
Well we caught the cold at home, before we left..
The little nephew came down with it and about 4 more of it got it from him.
Went to the doctor at the house. My sister in law works in doctor's office. Got the family discount..
Shots and anti biotics total was 20.00 US dollars, plus my blood pressure meds. for 6 months.. -
Another rotten day, God bless you drivers who lumber tarp twice a day full loads, it's not for this guy.
milskired, SHC and leftlanetruckin Thank this.
