Well I found plenty of spots at the TA last night. I always stop at the 142, never the 140.
Should be at the TA in Gallup, NM tonight. Make delivery to Goshen, CA Friday morning and grab a load down the street right back to WI.
Where is everyone?

You didn't really want to go to Cali anyways lol
I decided to stop at exit 39 in NM at the Pee-lot. It's a nice cool 65* here but yet more than half the trucks are idling. I just don't get it??? I've moved twice because I parked away from everyone and some a-hole with his rocketship truck decides to park next to me and bump the idle to 1200 and all u hear is wwwhhhheeeewwwwww!!! I hate that whistling crap. I don't mind I it's a nice rumble or even straights, but that whispy-whirl of these new trucks is insane !!!
End rantNWMAXI Thanks this. -
Not flatbed anymore but I do haul some flatbed stuff.
Picked up at Alcoa this mornin taking 3 skidded coils to Iowa. Where I plan to speed a day at the Iowa 80, its time I got some rest from running myself into the ground. -
My '12 Prostar idles at 6, only ever goes above 1000 for a Regen. Automatic Regen, but if the driver wants I just pop the clutch, she'll shut up for the night.

nothing like the pur of a pre 2007 kitty cat at 900 rpm with 6" staights to rock you to sleep...nothing worse than a detroit with a VV turbo at 1300 rpm with the fan kicking on and off.
people running their trucks like that makes me wish i had straights on mine, turn the engine fan on and set my boot on the thorttle to pin her to 2300 rpm then hang my other boot on the air horn.
Oh yea, im at the house eating cheap sausage and drinking cheap coffee....my sister getting hitched this weekend..gotta be there for the funeral i reckon -
