I was meaning the chicken as bait for alligators, they seem to find a fond attraction to the smell of fried chicken or dogs.

Yep, woke up about 3 am to the sound of my air system buzzing..Great. Set trl. brakes and it started airing back up..
Then the compressor pop off valve kept going off. Great, I' m frezzing up on the air system..
Pull the main line off and pour air guard down the line. Try going back to sleep. Not happening..
Then I start working on it again around 8am a little warmer...
Poured more achould in all the lines. Work it a bit and still popping off.Nurse it up to Waterllo. well Elk Run. Buy a new filter for my air dryer. Still popping off.
More air guard in the whole system. Made a couple of calls. How old is your compressor both ask.
I tell them and they both say change your pop off valve. Ok how do I do that?
Easy to replace, well kinda of. It's on the back side of the compressor.. 38.00 part..
No more popping off of the valve. Was told they get old an the spring gets weak, so it will keep bypassing the air to keep the compressor from blowing up on freeze ups. Learned something new Fri..

went to the shop this morning to roll my tarps because the wind was terrible in coatesville at Mittal Plate yesterday and our shop manager informs me they want to switch me out of this truck! Man alive I spent 2 whole days off cleaning that truck inside and put down the hardwood floors in the back...I'm just ready to give up, tired of this equipment that breaks once a week and never seem to be able to get ahead...

Why are they wanting you to switch.
You get it fixed and now they want to move you??

They want to give me a truck with less miles, mine needs a new Power steering pump, ive been running armstrong for 2 weeks now, it works fine going down the road but you cant dry steer it at all and if your backing in it's all arm strong steering.

I've had 4 or 5 trucks now, and ive spent countless hours cleaning them, i feel like i clean them up for them to sell or give to someone else! I'm very particular about my truck, no shoes inside at all, i drive barefoot and set my shoes on a mat i made that sits beside my seat, i scrub carpets or rubber mat once a week and armor all down the whole interior floors included if its rubber mat...

on the weekends i lay towels down so the grease monkeys dont get my floors dirty...

    just frustrating man.

    d o g and aiwiron Thank this.
