Good Luck. Heck you're young, you may be back to flatbed so just hang on to the card.
What do you mean like cluck cluck? Did he stop stepping? I miss something? Been incommunicado since running the North Dakota area. I went to that Pilot someone suggested....but they don't have internet.....not close enough to town, so they're waiting for a tower (microwave I suspect) to be installed to connect them. Was there for about 2 days and then off to the races across to Hamilton,ND to take a couple loads to MN and WI, back to WI for a load of shingles going to OH. So now I'm sitting at Iowa 80 catching up getting ready to do some house cleaning and such.
Came through Dubuque, IA but could not see Pape's place in the dark.
... so will have to try some other time.... maybe with a different employer myself. Getting tired of the crap again, lies, incompetence, and general stupidity.

POP QUIZ
Without OS/OD permits, running legal, how much can you load on a STEEL Fontaine Stepdeck trailer 48'X102"? Tractor is 34k and change with
3/4 to full fuel tanks?
-
looks like maybe 46k on the deck, if you can get it to balance out right

Back in Rochester at the yard.
Got 2 966's to do next week going to Lincoln, then a D7E from Creve Coeur Friday to go to Bloomington.
After that a stretch load that loads on 20-22nd of this month heading to South San Fran. for the 28th.
Looks like my month is planned out!
The shop guys "accidentally" left the shop unlocked last night, so I could get my generator up and running again. It wouldn't start on Tuesday last week, which made me idle the truck. Turned out to be a broken ground wire connection to the block from the low oil level shutdown. Adjusted the brakes, checked tire pressures, greased 5th wheel and check hub oil levels while I was in the heat. Wasn't looking forward to doing that outside today with just hand tools, so it was a God send for sure.

Here's the incompetence point.
My dispatcher tells the agent I can hold 48k. When the agent tells me that, I just laughed and told him, not on this trailer, ever. I don't feel so bad about fueling up and scaling to make the point. He was under the impression I still had the aluminum flat on my back.

The unlocked fee was a six pack?? Glad you got to work inside..

No exchange needed mate! One of the shop guys just said, "be a shame if the door was left unlocked after we left huh?". Even left the heaters and lights on for me! When they came in this morning, I was asked why I didn't use the shop. Told them I left it cleaner than when I went in, and even put Nate's cordless impact battery on charge. Guess I cleaned up enough so that they didnt think I even went in there...lol
