And to be honest, I was behind the 8 ball with the last company before yours leaving me out to dry for almost 2 months with no income. I fell behind on my house bills and a few other things and needed to get out and make some fast cash. I believe I could have done very well with you guys, but at the time my situation just wouldn't let me work into the swing of things and the way your company operates. I really enjoyed the freight, how helpfull you and your father were in getting me started, and the experience I gained there. Pape is a good company with good people in-house.

There have been a number of times that I have stayed out for 3-4 weeks chasing the rates around the country. Then went home and taken 7-10 days off. I feel doing this I actually get much better quality time at home with my family.

I used to think that to until I started pulling a step deck.

I can appreciate being able to stay home for a week+. Most of my drivers would not be willing to spend the 3-4 weeks out...and I can definitely understand that.

I never thought I would be able to stay out that long either. But after laying out alot of money to get into pulling a step deck I thought I would just suffer through it for a little while until I had paid myself back for all the securement equipment. I found that if you are staying on good paying loads and staying busy 3-4 weeks goes by very fast.

Pape seems like a good place to work and I think if I lived out that way I would probably be there putting in a job application if I were looking for a job, I like a place that values home time as much as I do.
