    Followed a Old Dominion Truck in KC dragging his safety chains to his dolly.....oh well

    Completely understand and since I had a incident many years ago with a strap my radio stays on.

    I tried telling a can hauler had a tire shreading yesterday(no surprise) but no answer. Even got up next to him and waived my mic around. Totally ignored me! I always have mine on, wont hear you till your within a mile but its always on!

    My radio doesn't work that way. It is an old Cobra 25GTL and has a connex board and some other stuff done. My squelch only has on and off. All the way left and I hear everyone. 1/4 turn right and I hear nobody, even if they are right by me. Hench why I just leave it off.
