It must be pretty good money...since you have been out for a while, I was pretty surprised you stayed out over the weekend instead of bouncing home.

I would feel better about it knowing the owner is going to be there. I am just surprised they would ship a CNC machine not fully tarped in the winter.

I was through there this morning. Hit the border at exactly 1/2 hr before sunrise. Then it was hustle hustle hustle to make it here before sunset. Ohio makes it difficult with there 55mph speed limit for oversize.

Just plug in Sammy Hagaer, I can't drive 55 and crank it up. In no time you will be sitting at the T/A on the east side of Wheeling:biggrin_2559:

Is that what you do? I made it here in good time by hitting the border early so it all works out. These longer days are getting nicer.

I really should have just went home.... but hind-sight is 20/20.

And they did want the load fully tarped, but the agent called me since I've done some other stuff for him before and asked if I was interested. i told him all I had were 2 steel tarps and some 6x8 walmart throw aways. He called the guy and they said that would work. i spoke with the buyer on the phone friday and he said they mainly need the control panels tarped. But on Friday, the weather channel also said it would be sunny and 40*.... that changed in a hurry. Like I said, the agent and buyer know what the situation is. If it is really bad in the morning then I will just tell them it's prob not a good idea to ship them right now and have them wait till later in the week when things clear up more. Like I said, it pays very well but not really worth all the downtime and waiting around. And if I have to leave empty in a snow storm, the trip home will not be fun at all :(
