Where is everyone?

Jefferson GA terminal. They brought in a whole pig for lunch. It was nearly picked clean when I got there. Heading to FL with a partial paying good by itself

 

What yah got driv-ah?

 

I copped an anaheim once then rubbed my nose. That was a terrible experience.

 

Loaded up in Hodgkins and made it to the house, waiting for the wife to get home from the gym, then going out for dinner.

Gonna take her along tomorrow to deliver.... should be fun.

 

I delivered 20 cases of pablanos....well, I attempted to deliver...rejected because they were withered because they were on a 34 degree reefer when they are not supposed to get lower than 60 degrees. found a couple mexicans at the truck stop that bought them for $10 a case.

 

Did a 400 mile round trip with one tricky turn that I bogged down twice on Monday but got through today. No curb kisses, a 180 degree alley dock in a tight space nailed, stuggled on the straight back (for some reason, perhaps tiredness as 4am comes early), but got it in there. 2 clean couples/uncouples. Did me best driving yet as a trainee, got quite a few attaboys for not giving up when I stepped in it on the back at the yard.



Tomorrow is a new day. Right now I am home.

 

Hebron IN. Cant make SD to offload so looks like Monday for me now. I cant do 700 miles a day on this darn Elog in a 62MPH truck! Sucks!

 

All this hot food and noot one person brought up habanero chocolate chip cookies ... best stuff ever
