Mid 7 did a lot out of Ottumwa. I believe they did a little out of DM, but you would know that better than me. They were a lot bigger deal 10 years ago. There is a lot of shake up with Deere. They are working hard to expand their carrier base and capacity. We will see how things shake out. It is all supply and demand and the business cycle. The key is to stay a step ahead. If you are complaining about what is going to today, you are too late, you already got passed by.

i must have missed that memo, in my 33 years of of driving i nose in park quite often. i do it for a couple of reasons, 1 ) if a spot is open between two trucks i will nose in between to not hear their engines and /or reefers run all night.
2) i do it as a consideration for someone who isnt going to idle not having to listen to my apu run.
nosing in is often done as a courtesy to other drivers , it is not a question of skill level. if i get stick it in, i can get it out, also.
how would a driver nosing in next to you prevent you from pulling out with an rgn? only thing i can think of is if his 53 foot trl with the axles slid forward is sticking out. shouldnt be much different than turning a spread axle 48 flat from a spot.
theres already a nose -in parking thread, lolaiwiron Thanks this.
