Where is everyone?

Remember the Howard Johnson is right across the road from the TA in Wheatridge. I think the trucker rate was $65 the last time I stayed there.

Food in the restaurant there is not to bad and there is a little bar west of there that serves chinese or vietnamese food (can't remember which one) that isn't to bad either.

I was stuck there for 4 days once when the cam went out of my truck. I won't even tell you what my bar tab was......because I don't remember!!

 

Loaded and up in Jackson,Ms where I deliver in the AM.
Then sounds like shooting over to Cullman,Al to Devils Lake,Nd with a legal load that pays very well.
Will be going through the house I guess, as I have an injector pump throwing a fault code. Have a spare pump on the truck though if it decides to go bad etc.

I took my wife on her first trip last week with me. Did a day trip to Ohio and she already wants to sell the house and come ride along. Her only stipulation is I get a 130" sleeper cuz she wants to be able to lay down and read while I drive. I told her I'd rather she quit her job and stay home and clean.... That didn't go over so well lol

I'm one of those high class hoes, I won't stay at anything less that a Marriott or Holiday Inn Express. I don't mind spending the $$$. As for the truckstops, I'm not sure I will be parking at one since the place I'm delivering to Friday already told me I could drop my trailer at their yard if I wanted to for the weekend, or I might just go to the Walmart where in delivering the piece to and leave it there and go to the hotel. Manager already told me it was ok.... But if do stay at the truckstops, it will prob be the TA near downtown.

 

You want to stay on the east side for sure. I sent you PM but the Rockies are in town if you to see a ball game sat or sunday.

 

I hauled my two loads to St Paul today. Farmer rode with me on the first load so he could see where his corn goes. It was nice to have someone to talk to.

Hauling out from a different farm tomorrow. Its on a 7 ton road so we are going to have to put some in the trailer then drive about 5 miles to where the farmer is going to have his tractor and grain cart parked by a 10 ton road to top it off.

Kind of a pain but I guess there isnt much else we can do.

 

SHC, its a small family owned placed called Mohr. I had an offer for Prarie also but this is a small time deal and the owners whole family grew up with my family in Forest Park.
