    It's hard to understand the physical demands of something you've never tried (and no, racing to make it to Starbucks before they close doesn't count)

    running a car up to 300mph in less than 4 seconds is very demanding. What about the 24hrs of Lemans Race.... Or god forbid, a NASCAR race where they get no breaks, no halftime, and go avg of 200mph for several hours straight.

    I am a big appreciator of athletic ability. There is a big difference between Michael Jordan and Lou Gehrig in that respect. I love ball players like Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente, but baseball is now dominated by guys more like Roger Clemens and Mark McGuire.
