It's still better than the new menu at the T/A or the crap at the Petro. $ hours after eating at either one I'm on the toilet. I wonder if they use Olestra in the fryer oil. ugh.

Well got to the job site. They off loaded the main pieces and left the small pallet on.
My wife is flagging down the forklift driver and pointing at the pallet. He keeps moving to the other side of the lot.
He comes over and says, the small lift is out of gas and somebody will be bringing some shortly. 2 hours later..
ok. get that last piece off. Then wait untill 3 pm to ld. our big piece. They won't let me bridge it, so stretch the trailer out 17'
Then park and air up the trl. and place blocks under it and dump the air to get it to go positive and then chain the trl. to the ld. then air up and chain the ld. to the trl.
No permit. Tomorrow is a new day..

    SHC Thanks this.

Left work half an hour early, leaving things in JPs competent hands. Got in my first nine holes of the year. There was still ice and snow in quite a few places. Now I am watching Iowa in the finals of the NIT. Hopefully, the Hawks can win and tomorrow goes smoothly so I can put this long week behind me.

I almost stopped today on my way back up from Davenport. When I walk in do I ask for the "Head muckety muck" or "The Top Pencil Pusher"?

Were you running empty? I saw one of your trucks heading North and was going to point it out to JP but he was on the phone. Today one of our drivers referred to us as "Beavis and Butthead" so that one may stick for a little bit. If you ask for head muckety muck, you may get shown into the old man's office. That is never fun.
