Not from what I have lined up. It's a very tempting offer and I might just have to take the tanker job. Flatbed is about dead to me, all I can find are good paying loads out and not crap going back at all. Might just have to take my LTL back to the windy and go talk with above said company about their offer.

    chalupa Thanks this.

Just went and picked up my trailer. They decided to transload it instead of sending it into Mexacali, so that made me happy. Trailer was in perfect condition, so now it's over to the bar at Famous Dave's to celebrate LOL

Home for the weekend and am happy I avoided the rain storm. I can not wait till winter gets here in FL. These hot days wear me out quickly.

And when the company gets underbid then you will be looking again. Not trying to be a jerk but there is good & bad everywhere, you've bragged about you're gravy loads maybe it's time for a little salt until they pick back up.
It is slow for everybody right now.

There is a reason the loads pay well going out...you are hauling to s%^t areas. This is also why your back hauls suck. You keep chasing the big money. It is trucking...it doesn't exist. Lot's of guys do well by working hard day in and day out. There is no get rich quick in trucking. If you choose to stay in good freight areas, you aren't going to make $3/mi. But you will have consistent freight. Tankers aren't going to be any different. Stick with something and get good at it.
