Its an old place. You pull on the scale to weigh, they honk a horn and you back up to dump. After you dump you pull ahead onto the scale again and they honk the horn when they have your empty weight.
We have most of our customers talked out of marketing their grain there. -
Not sure if his Peavy is like mine but of it is then the pits are old and can't take wide open and over flow everywhere. If you do this then let it go all over ground off the grate they'll call the guy you hauled it in for and tell him nod to have you come back
MJ1657 Thanks this. -

Well yesterday was "interesting" to say the least. Weather was horrible, securing the load was a PITA, the clay pit I loaded in was nasty and I had to throw away my shoes when I was done loading. But the weather was the worst part, It's gone from blizzard to snow, rain, snow, hail, tornado (Nebraska) and finally I'm getting in front of it. Only took me 850 miles. The wind is still being a ##### tho. Here's a pic I snapped while sitting at the pull off on top of Shishoni Mtn. (don't ask how I found it) complete whiteout for about 25 min. I'll be glad when I get home tomorrow.
