Well, guess I got lucky, looking at the radar, it seemed the rain band was freezing back toward me, so I stopped early in Oak Grove, MO Petro. Heard they closed 70 at 35. I was looking at the Doppler Radar In Motion on the Electronic Logs tablet and saw the rain turning to freezing rain colors and the signs getting freezing rain buildup so decided that was an omen and time to stop. :D

Won't be getting home soon, my spider sense was tingling and even though I was told I could deliver Saturday in Owosso, MI, I double checked and sure enough, after hustling for nearly 700 miles yesterday I should have stopped in Amarillo and had that steak dinner cause this load won't get unloaded till Monday. ::;sigh::: the spirits are delaying our return. :D

Anyway, got some laundry done. :D

Western trailers are wierd. The 4" straps they use have d-rings intead of flat hooks. There are litterally hooks welded to the trailer, they are not what everyone else calls jhooks.

I wish i had those on this trailer it would make life simple when chaining things down. but in the end ill take the extra time aand effort of strapping and chaining things down just to keep the nice new shiny conestoga behind my truck lol

I have cargo space in the header...I meant I cannot secure the flat hooks on the rub rail like normal

We are still waiting on pics ... no matter the set up ....Its still better than slinging rags

    Rugerfan Thanks this.
