Rolled north up thru Yellowstone today. That's some beautiful country, and got to see some of the locals. Parked in Belgrade, MT at the hotel till Sunday morning then make the 550 mile drive to Beulah, ND.

Sitting at the house...err my shop. I live in a 40x80 steel fab building. It's basic, but I have all my toys...errr junk in here :) It's good to be back on familiar ground in beautiful weather. Too bad all the local tv stations have nothing else on except KY Derby coverage. I will continue my 45 year old tradition of not going to the Derby ;)

Truck might be down until Wednesday for maintenance which is fine by me. Mercer's freight has been lacking lately. Seems like I was making more $$$ back in March.

Speaking of J hooks, I think every stepdeck should have them. My trailer is a pita when I'm loaded with palatalized freight going the entire length of the trailer. I can't get mt spools in front of my right side box because it's too deep. I don't like putting them in front of the left side box because I always forget I need something inside. Pffft.

Did some night driving through Oklahoma. Smokey had the right lane blocked, this truck was on the shoulder. You can't see in the picture, but the trailer is on fire and the tractor is still attached. It was also snowing. Of course, a FedEx truck went on a field trip.

Today was a very long day.
