thats awesome... these kw 660's are pretty awesome when it comes to fuel mileage. mine didnt drop off at all even pulling the conestoga

 

Granted I-5 mountains are a little taller than those on 84... lol

 

Watching it rain. Lots of outdoor plans today but it looks like those will have to wait.

Going to go shed hunting and check deer stands tomorrow then pack my bag for monday.

 

thats true lol... southern oregon just kills my mpg and northern cali doesnt help either

 

we have a few t660's where I work with big cummin's motors and they seem to do really well on fuel too, right around 7mpg.

ours have the cummins isx and 450 hp i think so they arent huge but at 79340 i pulled the grapevine at about 30-40 mph so i was surprised and happy about that

 

ours are isx 600's and 625's.

some are factory 600's and some my boss had 100hp chips added to 525's.

I really like these cummin's motors so far, but my trucks in the shop right now because of DPF filter is plugged up, and alot of our trucks have had emmsissions troubles...I personally wouldn't buy a truck with a DPF filter or DEF fluid, just give me a 6nz cat.

Boss man just bought a 389 day cab glider with a 6nz and it sure is nice, most of our day cabs are 389s but he runs the aero cabs on the OTR trucks.



the loaner truck, I'll be in it next week too, most likely..

Boss was looking into buying me a new truck last fall and thats what it would have been. Decided to wait.

Might change my shed hunting plans into getting my Oliver out of the shed and hooking it onto the plow.
