Albuquerque - almost. Customer didn't load me until almost 12:30 pm. The sun has set and I am in the wrong side of the curfew. Guess I get to start late tomorrow.

 

There's nothing coming out of Louisville in the near future, but cinci does have some freight. $590 on 161 miles

Best stop ever. Wal-Mart and a bunch of restaurants on the same side of the highway. Always a place to park there too.

 

You can't ask to pick and deliver the same day?.....if not you could have bounced to Cincy this morning....thats a waste of time

Exactly. I get to run to my contractors place 4 miles away, go to the shipper another 5 miles, then back to my contractors place for another 5 miles, then home 4 miles. Keep in mind I'm paid 30% after fsc. That's $150 for me. I can bring a load back to Louisville and might clear $250 for the day which is my minimum that I try to keep.

I'm going to call the agent tomorrow just to be sure about the delivery time.

I think this stepdeck can make more money from someone else's load board.

 

I wouldn't even ask just go deliver and blame it on the agent, or say the shipper told you it was hot...you should be there before noon unless its something goofy they shouldnt reject you ... Then pretend you have a hot load to pick up before 2p stamp your feet, call the agent an idiot....everybody hates the man...you will get unloaded

 

Do what clasix said, load it, haul ### up there and get rid of it, half these agents are retarded.

 

Start the day in Omaha and just went through Dayton OH. Bout to call it a day...
