Where should I go work, Swift versus Stevens Transport?

    I drove for Swift for a year, and averaged about 2,600 miles/week. They have a lot of terminals where you can get fuel, shower, park. They are cheap at first, I think they start new drivers at $.26/mile for the first 6 months. In a year you'd be at $.31 with plenty of miles. One other thing, Swift pays $.04/mile safety bonus/quarter. That's a nice chunk if you're paying attention. Trucking companies want to roll loads, everything else is up to you.

    Guy has 5 posts, I would think he is working a fry station at In&Out bout right now.

    On a side note, that swift truck is in a Walmart parking lot in Chehalis Washington, after a flood.

    Swift is a great company so is Stevens. Wow how do you choose between such GREAT company's.
    Oh and the sky is green, and it rains skittles and the moon is made of pepper jack cheese

    Yep I second that, Roehl is the best starter company you can choose.. Forsure. After you get a year move on.
