Where should the gps be placed?

    How about a pic of where your omnitracs is mounted. And does it get in the way at all? Seems real close to the wheel and hiding some buttons.

    It doesn't get in the way at all. I keep it pushed in as close to the dash. And I night I just turn off the screen.

    I put it in the upper left part of the windshield when I need to use it. Im short and to be comfy I sit with the seat to the floor. I wish the seat went just a tad lower

    Gps is almost useless in the oilfield. Every road in pa and wv where I've gone gps keeps re-routing me.

    I like my printed off directions and old hand local knowledge and cb. In the oilfield a big radio will do you better than mini size tv gps
