Tutle is Halco's baby in ND. They seem to do no wrong. Next in line is Brady or MBI.

I'm with Brady in ND. I guess halliburton pads are shut down until the 28th anyway. If I had known these things I would've just taken christmas and new years off lol.

I guess Brady isn't perfect. I know a couple months ago lots of drivers kept pushing hoses under v-belts and trucks without a cap, getting scoria in the hoses and casuing pumps to go down. It got to a point where we had a pusher at the kodiak/whiting pads and anyone caught pushing a hose without a cap would be written up and sent back to the yard. These jackholes need to realize they're ####### over their coworkers with this ####.

Everybody, at one time or another, has had a one-trick-pony. What did he do for the year.

I live 20 miles north of where it shows Big Duke lives and probably run the same oil fields. I drive a company truck out of Saginaw Texas. Missed 3 months work last year due to medical(thank goodness I have company medical) and still grossed over 62000. This year is certainly going to be better. Very rarely am I gone out of town for over 4 days and have by chose, spent a week home over the holidays. Good days may, for some reason or another, be gone for some but I am living the life of Riley and am so thankful.

I live on Tyler, TX iwt's about 1.5 hours in log lingo East on 20 I went to work as a contract driver (10-99) last November and I've made almost $10k from 7th of Nov to 23rd of Dec. @ 25% of what the truck grossed. I was in a decent truck yes I said was long story short the owner got in over his head when he went from owning 2 trucks to 5 and leasing 4 trailers and he bought the last 3 trucks in October , and if you have worked in the oilfield for a while you know that work slows down towards the end of the year pretty much every year. With that said and more than a few lets just say animated aggravating arguments and maintenance issues he went from 5 trucks down to 1 that is working and dot complaint so with all those truck and trailer payments I'm surprised they haven't been reposed already. Ok all that aside the company he was leased with is in Weatherford , Tx and it's a very good company they oly have owner operators no company trucks. I was fortunate enough to get on with another O/O leased to the same company. I wont disclose the company name publicly so if you want to know send me a pm or email address. The have contracts with Baker Hughes , Frac Tech , UPP , Halliburton , and just got Trican . Don't ever agree to less than 25% of what the truck grosses and always if your working as a contract driver get rate sheets for each company you haul for so you will know you are getting paid what you are supposed to be and if you happen to get on with someone who has a truck where I'm at look me up and I will show you how I do it . With the price of oil as low as it is and how that is gonna effects us sand haulers I don't know for sure yet but god luck to all and be safe out there. FRAC ON AMERICA! !!!
