I'm on a load going from Memphis, TN to Fort Collins,CO to Salt Lake City,UT and I am going to need to buy tandem drive tire chains before Parley's Summit going into Salt Lake City. I am thinking about getting the frame hanger for chains also.

Can someone recommend a good shop or truck stop to buy some.

I doubt you'll have to chain up at all. In 5 years of crossing over parleys 4 times a week i had to chain up,once and that was because of an accident that occurred mid way up. And I have been through some shiittttyyyyyy conditions over parleys.

Or just take 80 to and 84 go around it'll be like 15 minutes extra but no,hills just twistes

Just take Chicken Canyon around to Ogden. It's not much farther and cheaper than buying chains you may never use.

Don't buy em at a truck stop, you'll pay way too much. Check at a parts store or even a truck or trailer dealer.

You were lucky or it wasn't recently. They're getting to be pretty religious about chains up there now, just like colorado

I have seen the bungee cord Spiders for the outside tires, but which length bungee cords do you use for the inside tires?

How much do you think chains and everything will cost?

Check Craigslist through the states you're driving in. I found 8 bags for 20 a piece the other day
