Take this into consideration , You dont have a life when you drive OTR.Your wife or Girlfriend usually cheats on you with sancho or dumps your ***.All your friends you had become strangers. You might as well sell your house or if you live in a apartment you might as well get rid of it so you dont have to pay any more rent so you can use that money for toilet paper, piss jugs,Hair Clippers so you can cut your own hair, soaps, underwear when you almost run off the road or a mountain and Extra Log books so when you **** one of them up you can start again with another one.Your also going to have to get used to dealing with all the other stinky, greasy, nasty, ugly fat animals you encounter at the truck stops.I am horrified that I have to do this for a year because I couldnt use all of the tractor trailer experience i already have because its not verifiable because i was paid cash....I figure 1 year then quit then buy my own truck and drive just texas hauling crude oil like my uncle....He makes a killing....Seriously take this into consideration.I suggest that you go be a bartender or get a bachelors degree and go to medical school to be a gynocologist.Thats what i always wanted to do....I have too much debt and I need to pay it off and I cant afford to go back to college :biggrin_25513:....Later Bro

I say Watkins & Shepard, but I'm biased, for obvious reasons...they gave me a chance as a newb and I think it's a good company. Of course, it's not all sunshine and puppies, no company or organization is.

But, it was the best choice for me and my family...

They have treated me good so far, the miles have been sufficient, and I don't feel just like a driver number here. I wish they had some newer equipment, but it suits me for now. Check out our threads and you may see what I'm talking about
