I've only seen a single 09. I believe you're right about can numbers, but I have seen some 10 vans as well. In the case of the vans, it refers to the model year.
-
Some of those 10 vans are not really new but have been rebuilt. One that I had was originally made in 98 or 99, but it looked brand new everywhere. The only way I knew it was rebuilt was it was for a Wesvaco load where they need to be 10 years old or newer and this one had both dates on it. It was very early in the use of them because ECT told me I couldn't take a container to that customer. I had to convince Memphis it was a duraplate rebuild.Injun Thanks this. -
Costco is hoarding trailers they had 100 Emptys and gave me a list of 4 to take and guess what not 1 was there and I was told do not take another if I couldn't fi d 1 on the list wtf and Volvo is using trailers for storage had 10 trailers half or less full of Transmissions

ANY TRAILER THAT STARTS WITH A 14 IS A 14 FOOT TALL TRAILER.
Also swift just had a ton of old ms carries trailers reconditioned for walmart dedicated they will all start with WMT All they did was hit them with a layer of Rustoleum White paint and minor mechanical repairs.
Any Trailer that starts with an R is going to be a refer.
Also looks like some people beat me to this post but here it is again anyways. -
Saw a Pam Transport truck pulling a Swift trailer on I44 in Missouri yesterday. Seen several UPS trucks pulling them lately.
-
I pulled a Swift trailer yesterday with those #### air fairings on it. Its in Nashville Tennessee. $20 and Ill tell you the address where I left it.
Injun Thanks this. -
Those fairings are great, as long as you don't have a cross-wind. If you have a cross-wind and a light load, you may as well be towing a large kite!
-
Saw a MVT truck pulling a Swift trailer yesterday. It just gets all mixed up this time of year, doesn't it?
-
Saw a new one at the SLC terminal today. 45XXXX trailers, 53 footers 14 feet.
