I don't pull flatbeds. Am dedicated to a chemical plant that is shut down until the end of August... They are not getting raw material coming in from China. 5 days at the house waiting on dispatch... nothing.

I was thinking because of import goods not coming in. But did not want to sound like I was getting political.

It's been going gangbusters last 3 or 4 months. Nothing lasts forever. Lots of companies were rushing trying to sell and buy goods before any of this trade war crap started, not knowing what may or may not happen. Probably a lot of that surge boom is about over and done with and we're getting back into "normal" freight movements.

That's why I like moving frozen and chilled processed food products. No wild swings to deal with. Steady all year long. A little busier before the holidays, but steady otherwise

2.5 Billion Pounds of Meat Piles Up in U.S. as Exports Slow

When it’s all said and done, we’ll end right back where we started but it may get ugly in the next 24 months. Trump is going about this all wrong and we’re (middle class consumers all over the world) going to end up paying for it, one way or another.
