If I told you, then you would tell two of your friends and they in turn would tell two more of their friends and soon my bread and butter would turn into food stamps and welfare.

I been a driver for close to 30 years. The last 4 years I've been doing hotshot with a 1 ton dually and a 40 ft. gooseneck trailer. Been bring home at least 2000.00 a week for the last 2 yrs.Home every nite unless a take something to a oil or gas rig. I've never owned a big rig and I'm getting on in years, I'd like to say I did it and gave it all when all is said and done. Am I crazy to jump on a big rig or what?

Your not going to make any $$ running containers anymore. That market basically dried up about 5 years ago. I was making $750 a day pulling containers and then everyone got in on it and it went away....... GA is a very tough nut to crack honestly. You can do well, but you won't be home everynight. Can't you just look for an out-n-back account you can run on with the containers? Stay oout maybe 2 night a week.

Do you HAVE to be home every night, or is it just a convience thing for ya? (or does the wife insist on you being home)

4 years ago I could easily make 4k a week doing containers home nightly and weekends. It's just too many people doing them, I'm looking at a tanker job tomorrow but they want you to do too much..
