Where's u tankers loading at this morning

HUNT ...... <<< the word is HUNT. (Hunt, I would also.)

 

I'm at nufarm America in Chicago heights. Appointment time is 1930 a truck ahead of me hasn't gone in yet. I'm not a fan of night loads and flipping the sleep schedule.

 

....at first I thought you said nut farm. . . . LOL~! (bet it kinda is, anyway, eh?)

 

Crap I have been out too long, it feels that way after awhile.

 

Midnight snot load. I20 got shut down again just west of Sweetwater last night. Another truck rollover blocking the freeway. They had a fatality on the east side of the town the evening before wjen a boat hauler took an onramp to fast an rolled it at the bottom and slid across the westbound lanes. He hit a tow truck and killed the driver, then another semi hit both on them.
I've seen more truck accidents along that stretch from Abilene to midland I'm the past 6 months tham I have my career so far.

Kinda had a shake up at the terminal. My boss, the manager of liquid bulk, just got promoted to operations manager when that person (The only reason I went to work here and I never really even got to work with the guy. Just an amazing dude) moved on to bigger and better.
My boss was the one pushing for the Texas fleet, so I'm not sure what's going to happy to us. We're struggling down here because we have 4-7 trucks at any time running snot turns and we have no one to talk to about problems and no one to give the customers face time and we still don't have anyplace to call home, so when guys who live in Texas take home time, they take their trucks home and have to try and find places to park and then that truck and trailer are out of service until they come back on duty and if they live far enough away, it can take 3-days for the truck to get back into position to do the snot loops. Last week we were 21 loads behind schedule. 21 friggin loads. We were able to blame the hurricane for a little bit, but throw im some breakdowns and guys quitting/getting fired, we're barely treading water.
I've been doing my best to be the middleman (for free) but am at the point where I'm questioning the wisdom. I dont have official power to do anything and have to relay info to the north salt lake office anyway. But I figured the customers would like have someone they can complain to in person.

 

Well done! I have several friends who did their 20 , and partial disability and not one is getting over 32k.
Thats a helluva raise you're getting. Don't touch the money at all and 10 years later you have 500k sitting there. 20 years, there's your million and thats just letting it sit, doing nothing. Sounds like you're set for life. You could go be a school crossing guard and yell at kids all day and still make over 60k.
