Just log sleeper berth for 8 hours and it will do it automatically. As long as you could have made it all the way back in eleven hours from where you left this morning you will be good. That’s between 600- 700 miles. Any more than that you will have to take 2 hours before getting there so might as well do a 10.

 

Just north of Winston Salem? That’s about 3 miles from my house. Surprised you got a spot. I wish someone would build a proper truck stop in that area. I would sleep at home a lot more and save some miles on my pick up.

 

I am sitting here at the new Loves in Mebane taking a 2 hour break. Had to take an 8 at the plant last night or be late for pick up. The rack is blocked by a dry bulk unloading rack if a truck is there so the schedule this first. Can’t be late.

 

You can still show a post trip and should. The rule is no driving after 14.

 

Make a deal with him for Friday off next week. He probably put you on an out and back then.
