We just picked up a new customer in Minneapolis.....Ugh!
I'll still not go near Chicago........I had to run it every week years ago.
I'll run those OH,IN 2 lanes cut across and up 39 into WI......lol!

 

Make sure everything is stepped down when you drive down the frontage road. That is literally the worst road in Chicago. I used to go to Boasso and I hated it.

 

Last time I went there a truck had rolled on its side (didnt see who) pulling onto doty @ 130th st

 

@19d There's a Loves a few miles east on I 94 at 159th. st. Its pretty new opened a couple of months ago

 

Dit to the ef to the O there, man! I LOVE my 2 lanes.... yeah, it has quandries... but not 3 different ways to find ONE effing exit~! Left at the red barn, LoL....right at the broken white barn, with the chickens running amok. . . . j/k... kinda?

 

Yeah it just had to do about 3 mph down this junk road

 

Just trying to get a picture in my mind's eye... are your frontage roads there, kinda like our ONE LANE ones, like off 223 ... here in Ohio????? Wife used to service a boat place, that started with an S.. maybe Schomburgs? in Rosemont..... horror stories from 25 years ago.. Just trying to visualize.

ps: She always bragged about eating at Nick's Fish Market... you Chicago guys ever been there? Probably out of our trucker price range; she was working for the boat company (SeaRay) back then.)

Unloaded in Cheyenne at Brenntag. Got a dispatch to Deadhead all the way to lock Haven, PA then come right back to Brenntag. Had to call and make sure that they sent me the right dispatch, as this has happened before. Nope it's mine. Brenntag is paying the deadhead miles.

By this time next week, I will be debt free.
Well still technically homeless, but I haven't decided what I want to do about that and where I want to live. I only came back to trucking to pay off debt.
A Wonderful woman, who was more of a Mother to me than my own, went to Hospice and I'm headed home after I drop in Cheyenne next week. Not sure if I'm coming back.
Missed so much spending 16 years in this truck.

 

I turned down the load I had.. I changed to a load going to South Carolina.. I'm going home Wednesday and then to go get my daughter..

 

This trailer is loaded with 46,500 pounds of chemicals, I'm gonna be right on the button at 80k.. must have been some brain dead Schneider local driver had this thing loaded. I never would allow them to put this much on my trailer. But anyways I gotta pull this beast all way to Greenville SC
