It's kind of strange, but the older I get, the more I appreciate those who served (and are serving) in the military. I got a little choked up over the weekend watching some of the old war movies. I have living relatives still dealing with the effects of combat 50 years after the fact. Thanks 19d (and anyone else here who's a veteran) for your service.

@Bud A. ~ On the "life is priceless" note..... cherish every day. Wife got a call this morning .. her 29 y/o niece'in'law in Florida died of a blood clot that calcified on her heart, at 6:15 am this morning. She leaves behind our nephew, and a 5 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. I'm still thunderstruck.

Cherish every day; stay safe, mates.

And ditto, all the above. I'm from a military family; as is the wife. The parades my kids were in yesterday was all drumline and a few horns.... very melancholy and tearful. 21 gun salute... the works.

Thank you all, especially those of you in memoriam. . . . for your service.

Took most of the weekend off and now I'm presently loading in Boston. Taking this out to Cincinnati and then deadheading home.

Love the Boston rush hour, this time it only took 1 hour to drive the final 14 miles to get to the shipper.

I'm very sorry to hear that. My daughter just turned 29. That's way too young.

Bee loads to South Dakota yesterday and today, then a run to Colorado tomorrow. Already tired after one day after four days off -- something is not right there!
