Jawbone! The original not the newer models. Still on the one I bought 6 years ago. Still use it while mowing my lawn on the weekends.
Blue Parrot's seem to work but I can't stand the feel of them.
Wife bought a jawbone 2 that works alright for her but I couldn't get it to fit right for me.
Which bluetooth headset do you recommend?

Another for the Blue Parrot!
I bought the first generation when they came out and then the second!
I never buy the first POS device when it hits the shelves! Remember the IPhone when it came out? oOr the other problem when Jobs thought it was the cats mewow and you had to hold it a certain way or you covered the antenna? I was totally impressed with Blue Parrot when it was introduced!
I didn't like the little flashy blue light either but a dab of gold ink took care of that problem! A tiny piece of duct tape will too!
That headset did not feel like it was falling off your ear when you bent down like all those others did. It was loud enough that I could hear in heavy wind and with a bigger mic cover it cut the wind down on the talk side also! It would reach from the trailer doors to the dash where my cell sat so I didn't have to fumble with that headache!
Plus I can use it with my computer on Skype AND gaming but I don't get the stereo from the one speaker ear piece which really doesn't matter that much! Besides driving with both ears covered is about as stupid as driving with your eyes closed!
All in all after using many different hang off the ear or in the ear devices this one is by far the best that is made for our working conditions. Those pretty things are for impressing the techno weenie Babes out there or for bar hopping or what we would call dressed up stuff!
The Blue Parrot is a working persons tool, not a toy! -
The Blue Parrot B 250XT is the best. WalMart.com has them for $69.99.
The flashing blue light can easily be shut off. Just read the manual.lupe Thanks this. -
honestly, I have 2 of the $20 wal-mart Emerson cheapo type.
my main thing was how it fit me. if the thing isnt comfortable, it isnt worth a dime. you have to find one that is comfortable to wear. they make many shapes, and few different sizes. most weigh about the same anymore.
I have two because the battery life a cheapo is awful. but two of them will get me thru a day fairly easy. -
Blue Parrot is the best I know of. People on the other end cannot hear any noise and have no idea whether I am driving or not. Only two complaints: 1. the headset is awkward to wear. 2. although the volume can go as high as I want it, the speaker is less crisp and clear (gets fuzzy) as the volume increases.

we have a blue eagle & blue eagle 2, 16+ hr talk time can recharge 12v, ac or off the laptop, i can have the hood open and be checking things with the truck running and no one knows.
wife got me the first one and at the time i looked at both the blue eagle and the blue parrot and i just like the way the blue eagle felt better. -
The new blue parrot "expressway" has three different ways to wear it.
Over the head headphone type
over the ear
or around the back of the neck.
and it can be linked to two different bluetooth devices at once.
All for slightly more cost...
Mikeeeemsfern29 Thanks this. -
The blue parrot I have is made by VXI corp. I have never owned a product that the company stood behind like VXI! The battery crapped out over a year after I bought it. They said send to us and we will check it over and replace the battery. They sent it back with the newer hardware installed! AND paid the return shipping. Did a friend of mine's the same way. He has actually had his for several years and has sent it back twice for a new battery. Each time they upgraded the inside components and replaced a couple of outside ones as well. Each time only costs the shipping to get it there. Its an awesome product! Of course to each his own for the fit of the unit, as someone else mentioned. If its not comfortable, it doesnt matter how much it costs.

I like the Blue Parrot as well. But I'd never pay $100. Check E-Bay. Got mine for $35. It was refurbished by Blue Parrot and has the same warranty as a new one.
