Yeah...Like Running AZ is a piece of cake....Is that Beyatch from AZDOT still citing drivers for the Conspicuty Tape being too low on the sleepers?

Or what about the stupid AZ law that prohibits your mudflaps being higher than 7" off the ribbon while your moving?

Or what about the fact no OD loads over 13' wide moved after midnight Friday until Monday 30 minutes before sunrise on any AZ highway?

Really stupid laws if you ask me....

L.A. basin. No idea how people put up with that smoggy traffic congested disaster. Leaving is always a pleasure.

On the other hand, NY is a fun challenge.

Funny (but sadly true) story about Atlanta...

About 6 or 7 years ago my neighbor decides to become a trucking owner. Not an owner operator, just an owner. He goes out and buys half a dozen used trucks, some conventional, some COE. I don't know if he got the contract prior to purchasing the trucks or afterwards, but he gets a contract with a company to haul their freight. Well, he hires several local drivers from the neighborhood and puts them to driving. I guess he's not paying enough or something because he keeps going through drivers left and right. He gets desperate for drivers because he's got freight to move and needs to keep the trucks rolling. He hires this one driver who must have been a crack head. A couple of weeks later, he's missing a truck and trailer and the driver is nowhere to be found. He gets the police involved to try and find his abandoned truck and they aren't any help. He finally finds the truck in the roughest section of Atlanta. It turns out that the driver, who had a major crack rock addiction, ran out of crack rock and money so he traded my neighbors truck and trailer for a couple thousand dollars worth of crack rock. The drug dealer is holding the rig for ransome and my neighbor has to go down to Atlanta and pay the drug dealers ransome (cover the expense of the drugs) to get the rig back.

It wasn't long after this happened that he sold everything and got out of the business.

SF CA. Delivering HHG in the city on many of the very steep hills. Driving around the block more than once can play havoc with the load.
