Choosing a company is such a personal choice. It's impossible to choose for you considering the very limited information you listed.
You need a pro and con list. What do you absolutely need? What is a perk? How much home time do you want? (Not even a sampling of what you need to determine first.)
What do you need to live? List it and decide if a company can meet your needs. Otherwise, you will be here in less than 3 months trying to figure out your next steps.

Yes, the choice needs to be made carefully so you don't become a driver who has had 5 jobs in 2 years. Another thing to consider is how much the recruiter is lying. When I was looking at West Side Transport, I found and talked to 7 of the company's drivers. It all checked out! They all confirmed what I was told.Texas_hwy_287 and TequilaSunrise Thank this.

First of all McDonalds. I worked there in 2015 (yes at the age of 32) and they only scheduled me 8-15 hours a week. So good luck with anyone wanting to have a life working there. Miserable employees. I failed with college thanks to the high tuition and liberal way of thinking so I ended up leaving that mess. Was going for Pharmacy tech until I realized they are swamped and barely could do their job. No scholarships for us Americans. I was rejected by a university after paying a hefty application fee. As for what I am looking for with trucking. Just a company that is about safety, that wont fire you if you decide it's not safe to drive, good benefits, home time isn't a big deal as I am single no kids. That sort of thing. Dedicated if it's worth it. Probably all 48 state as I am looking to move out of the NW. Even though Schneider does have some dedicated positions around here like Ford car parts I think. I'd do SNI bulk if I lived in Texas. Thanks for all the answers.

Just pick a company that runs 48 states and go for it. You can change companies in a few months once you get a better idea of what it's all about and can find your niche. While doing this you can look for a new place to live.
Do some apps., accept one of the offers, hit the road.
Interstate Distributor
Jones Bros. Trucking
Britton Transport
Navajo Express
Halvor Lines
Don Hummer Trucking
Don't procrastinate; choose something and go! Start the search for that new home!Rocknroller4 Thanks this. -
Not too long ago a guy said he couldn't decide and kept turning down offers. He lives in poverty, by the way. I reluctantly helped him find a decent outfit that would accept a high school dropout. He turned the job down because the company doesn't provide a built-in refrigerator. Some people have a big fear of any change in their life. Truckers usually aren't that way and can comfortably bounce around from state to state, job to job, with ease. I've lived in several states and had multiple jobs. I think I'll stick it out now in Henderson, Nevada which is basically Las Vegas.TequilaSunrise and SHOJim Thank this.

I've had two other careers, one white collar and one blue. When the chips are down, I'll take a biscuit when the plate is passed! I drove in the early 2000's and came back to it in 2015. I would not let a fridge stand between me and poverty!!TequilaSunrise and Chinatown Thank this.

It's been a couple years now, but some guy on here wanted into trucking and said he makes less than $10K per year and has to support a wife and 3 children on that. There was dozens of posts of people trying to help him. Then he said he can't stand the thought of being away from his family over night. We found a school within driving distance of his house. Then he wanted us to pitch in and fix the brakes on his car. Sometimes there's nothing to do for people like that.TequilaSunrise, Broke Down 69 and DoubleO7 Thank this.
