You took the words right outta my mouth Dryver. With the mentality he will probably wash out in 6 months at the most.

To the OP...you really don't need to take short cuts in your training or try and go dirt cheap...driving driving ain't warehouse work , it takes the right kind of attitude , plus lots of patience....Priorities safety, safety, safety,,,,in that order......
Dryver, ShootThis and TRKRSHONEY Thank this. -
What a scary thought.
TRKRSHONEY, Dryver and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this. -
If you are in a rush because you are hurting for money you might want to reconsider becoming a driver right now. It takes a while before you will earn good money.
TRKRSHONEY, Dryver, Tonythetruckerdude and 1 other person Thank this. -

Earn good money????????????????Somebody is fibbing to you or stretching the truth big time, lol.Maybe for oversize, super size, tankers but the normal van nd reefer companies, you'll never make what I consider good money.
-
There's the rub..
Would you like to define GOOD Money ? I know multi-millionaires that wouldn't define themselves as rich either...
-
There is money to be made in reefer, just have to have the right connections.
There isn't good money to be made in this industry running for the bottom feeder training companies is more like it.Dryver and TRKRSHONEY Thank this. -
Well the vice president is making nearly 8k a week.I would say thats good money, lol. But in trucking if you're not bringing home at least a grand a week after taxes then you're either making enough to survive and pay bills or making enough to starve on.You look at these starter companies, they take the drivers for a ride big time.
