Only two I've heard about is something for livestock. I think that was 90 days, not positive though.
There is also CVSA enforcement rule that says no trucks will be oos for elds. The driver can still be cited though. That's untill April 2018.

But I don't plan on using it. I'm staying on paper. Going to run local and only run out of state once every 30 days. Getting the ELD in case I get caught out over the 8 day in 30 rule.
I may as well donate to the guys making the ELDs. After all, that's all it's about. Money transfer from trucking into the technology sector. Nothing to do with safety as we all know.Joetro, TruckRunner and 25(2)+2 Thank this. -
