Which GPS should I get?

Gawd..Yet ANOTHER GPS thread.. At least now I know now,I would rather read,yet another,'Can I carry a pistol with me in the truck' thread..

 

What ever you do, DO NOT BUY THE RAND McNALLY. THEY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE SOUND AND POWER PLUGS AND THEY KNOW IT. THEY ARE LEAVING THEM ON THE SHELF'S FOR DRIVERS TO BUY UP AND WORRY ABOUT GETTING THEM FIXED. SOME PILOTS AND FLYING Js WILL NOT EVEN CARRY THEM ANYMORE BECAUSE OF ALL THE RETURNS SO YOU WILL HAVE A HARD TIME TRYING TO TRADE THEM IN. BELIEVE ME I HAVE GONE THROUGH 7 OF THESE UNITS IN 4 MONTHS AND NOW OWN 3 OF THEM. THE 710 IS A PIECE OF JUNK. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE. YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU DO.

 

sportsterbob - it would be nice if you communicated with me. Give me some details as to serial numbers, RMA's, etc etc.

yea rite. details please. I have a RM 710 & it does a really good job as a GPS for trucking and in car. the device comes w/ a one (1) year warranty and for the past 3 months I have used it everyday (also in my Jeep on light truck setting) with out any issues.
