I have yet to find a truck stop that sells Haagen Dazs, but the Walmart across the street has it, once again truck stops don’t have what I’m looking for so I take my business elsewhere while still parking in their lot

 

In Salt Lake City,UT. For a long time stood a sign for Snelgrove’s Ice Cream. The double scoop cone was the signature of the company stores. When we traveled back and forth across Utah, heading for Wyoming and Colorado mostly. It was a required stop.

 

I’ll second the vote for Publix ice cream. Their “premium” flavors... Peach. Blue Bunny is good too, as well as Schwanns. My wifey is a Dairy Queen junky.

If we're going shakes...then Steak N Shake. Traditional strawberry for the win.

 

McFlurrys are crap.

Go for the Haegen Dazs, the Vanilla Pecan, Chocolate Peanut Butter, or the Deluce De Leche

 

A local grocery store had Ben and Jerrys on sale for $2.59 for the pint size container.
Picked up 2 for the house
