    well check the intake hose to the compressor your leak might be there, you know the compressor takes the air from the intake manifold .

    I put new hoses there to but I was checking I again and I think it could be the purge valve on the air dryer. I think I'm gonna go pick one up tomorrow and try it. Thanks

    Update. I put on a new air dryer and govenor it was still doing it (losing boost) only it is twice as loud now,qnd now it doesn't stop now till it purges even at idle. Made it east to find now, it leaks from the safty valve on the dryer. I was told it was the unloaders on the compressor so I guess I'll give ita try and hopefully end this once and for all.

    try blocking off your air compresser supply (plug the head ) and fit a 9L3690 air cleaner assembly on your air compresser this will stop u losing boost through the air dryer

    we had one do this and the speed senser was acting up and cutting the fuel because the ecm thought we were going to fast. then the speedo would straighten out and the egine would run fine for a while . just a though.
