Cobra 29 BT, with an external speaker. Been using it since shortly after they came out. Nothing on your head. Just the CB mic in your hand.

Blue parrot is prolly the best but plan on buying a new one each year.
Plantronics Voyager Pro was awesome but for 2 issues:
1. Not enough noise blocking - people could still hear tons of noise
2. When it got wet (from sweating while loading or what not) - I found it would stop working correctly.
I had 2 of these units so I dont believe I had a bad one. Too bad, since I really liked the way that unit fit and worked.
I have tried the Blue Tiger series and they had a very hollow sound to them. It wasnt natural. -
Walking around with something stuck in your ear and looking like you're talking to yourself, is NOT natural!

No point in looking like your from Star Trek or an order taker at the McD drive through! -
Snowlyon Thanks this.

I second the Blue Parrot Expressway. I've had mine just short of two years and it works great. I like that you can wear it three different ways. I usually wear a hat and when I started driving I did flatbed and had to wear a hard hat while loading/unloading. If you used the option that goes around the back of your head it wont interfere with a hard hat but it also wont fall off when moving around securing a load.
On a side note, the case did develop a crack on mine shortly after I got it. I exchanged it for a new on and that one cracked too. I never bothered replacing it, it still works fine. Just has a slight crack in it. I don't know if it's a design flaw or if I'm just rough on them, but I do know if it died tomorrow I would buy the same model again. -

I have a Plantronics unit, the one with the mic the comes out around to the front. It is plenty loud for my ole Pete with straight pipes. And the wife can never tell if I am sitting or driving there is so little noise on her end.

Blue Tiger is crap. Keeps disconecting while not in use and when someone calls I have to ask the one who calls to wait until I start the thing. Also has a hollow sound. I have to pay attention very careful at the conversation and I honestly prefer to pay attention at driving.
The best I had was Plantronics Voyager Pro. Too bad I stepped on it. Also Plantronics was good for only 3-4 hrs of talking but the quality of sound was The Best.
