shoot, i'm only several hours south of your location. i'm currently sitting in the fontana yard after having to DROP the loaded trailer at a nearby customer.
whenever i'm in the vegas area, i go up to the sinclair truck stop that's 30 miles north of the city. there is always parking available, the food is fantastic, and it's usually pretty quiet. their fireworks store is also something else. last NYE, i bought $500 worth of (explosive) fireworks. i bought one finale that lasted a whole 15mins. it was the best money i had ever spent on fireworks. -

Would anyone please give me some insight into which terminals are good to work for. Would like to run out west... Phoenix, Las Vegas or maybe Oregon? Any input for the southeast would be helpful too.

As Knight terminals go, Salt Lake USED to be pretty good, according to a couple of guys I knew out of there. There isn't enough money in Vegas to get me to work for that place, unless their terminal manager and dispatchers have changed completely in the last 4-5 years.
I'd also stay as far away from Phoenix as possible...Almost as bad as working out of California.maxbetmike Thanks this. -
Well, here is the deal.
Washington is now out of Portland, and Reno is Tulare's plaything. Fontana is out of Phoenix and Vegas is Vegas.maxbetmike Thanks this. -
I finish squire training with my trainer at the end of the year. If all goes well, I should be knighted sometime in March. This wouldn't be the first time i've been told to avoid Phoenix. If I picked somewhere right in the middle of the U.S. would that give me better odds of getting loads going all directions?
