And yeah, you currently start out at .40 cpm and $18.75 an hour as a feeder. If the current contract passes, they will even out the money across the progression, and you will start out at a higher rate.
You know, I went from making $90k a year to only making about $50k currently. Yeah, the pay sucks in the beginning, and you sit at home sometimes. But you have to keep your eye on the big picture. -
One thing to remember, at least on the freight (UPSF) side is that even starting at $17.40 per hour, most terminals you'll get at least 45-50 hours per week. So a 1st year driver can still make at least 50K. If road, i think starts at .41cpm, but you'll get miles.
Sign up for weekend work and/or volunteer to work the dock inbound or outbound or both and you can make more.
2) We're doing better than Papa John's, but that isn't saying a whole lot. Moral here really isn't very good.Texas_hwy_287 and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -

This is supposed to be fun and we're making money. Yet, i've NEVER seen so many unhappy managers and this much manger turnover---EVER.

Because instead of delivering freight, we're delivering numbers.
We've forgotten where we've came from, and we need to get back to it.LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
Makes sense. UPS is very numbers-oriented, to the success and detriment of the company at times.

UPSF management are the most miserable people you'll ever be around. High stress low pay environment. The smart ones have left for greener pastures.

Whats up with other trucking companies pulling ups trailers?
LtlAnonymous Thanks this.
