Well if you’d read it would make sense my company requires elog I know the truck I bought I know the history and was under the impression any truck with a 6 pin plug would run an elog. Obviously I should’ve dug in a little bit but now I’ve got it I’m trying to figure out how to make it work. Maybe that’ll clear it up for yaLast edited: Jul 26, 2019

Diesel Dave sorry for asking so much but I’ve searched 40 pin with elog and all kinds of combinations and can’t find anything any advice on what to search? I’m new to this forum you’ll have to excuse my lack of knowledge!
Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
I think your best to get in touch with a couple Elog manufactures. Ask them what there product is compadable with .
Diesel Dave and Jbell03 Thank this. -
Took your advice and apparently Omnitracs is compatible with a 96 e model with a 40 pin! That makes me happy lolDiesel Dave and swaan Thank this.

You are correct in 99% of the cases. I have put many Omnitracs / Qualcomms in 6-pin rigs. Older bus but works fine with the right brand of E-Log. Call me if you like to discuss.
