That sucks. Who owns the truck anyway.

Oh ive seen it. Been mocked for my ram 3500 being mostly stock more then once. I have a friend who tunes every one of his trucks then pushes them to the limit. My 2012 is still going strong and he has had 4 since i got mine....only things on mine are a snorkal with all the bleed valves to it, a nice bumper a small 3 inch lift and rock plate plus a winch. Always funny to me because im always the one going to rescue his "upgraded" truck

Right. Like CAT only selling ET to dealers instead of making it available to individual owners. Forced me to get a hacked copy free and clear to do whatever I need in the ECM. They also try to force the owners to buy unlock codes to change certain parameters. It's my truck! What next? Licenses for socket sets and torque wrenches?

I'm not sure about that. I believe I can buy ET if I want to but have to pay the yearly subscription fee. I have considered it for our construction equipment, but have not done that. I could be wrong though.

It’s a small company out of Las Vegas, NV they only have 6 trucks in their fleet and hire owner ops with their own trucks or lease one with them.

The owner is Stallion X Holdings Inc., and they are selling it to the company I am contracted with.

Seems like just another way for them to stay in your pockets. Knowing this, is really making me not want a brand new truck. I’d rather take an older model and save the money for ab engine swap if it’s ever needed. That as well as get rid of the #### DPF bs.

If engine is paccar they have to get file from overseas to turn up speed using Davies . We were told power could not be turned up from 455 due to warranty and speed was hard limited to 75 mph . Maybe it was a Canadian dealership thing but it cost company 3 drivers due to power being low average load was 95,000 lbs . The salesman who told them it could be turned up was wrong.
