Which performance tuner should I get?

    When one of the companies I haul for brand new trucks came in, the drivers complained about the speed limiters and lack of horsepower, so the company sent them back to the stealerships and they tuned them, they opened them up but they were still covered for warranty. Drivers were happy. This was for the new Cummins X-15’s.

    Of course they can. Speed yes. Power depends on engine spec. Dealer can do it about hour labor. Power if under warranty must pay diff in price to Cummins if on warranty. After warranty it’s cheap to do at Cummins. Does not void warranty since you pay for the up in power under warranty which is super expensive. If you wait till warranty is done it’s a few hundred. And yes you can still get Cummins extended warranty afterwords. Using a aftermarket tune is a no no for Paccar and Cummins. Mine is a 22 and I took out the measly 75mph governor and idle stop.
