Here, let me point out how absurd that is for you "China is a great country, if you ignore the governance structure, orwellian surveillance and general lack of civil rights."
It's hilarious that what I'm getting at is still going over your head. Let me explain: we're grown up business owners. We know how taxes work state to state. We know how different state governments can affect that. You don't need to "live in New York, or know someone who does", in order to understand that.
Kind of gets back to what I said at the beginning. No point in incorporating in a foreign state when you still have to pay the taxes where you do business.
It was a great state but not much great about it anymore. I Have 59 years experience in NY and running businesses here for more than 30 years.
How would that be considered fraud? It's fraud if I park my trucks in a different state while being incorporated in another, and I don't tell the insurance companies.
Well lucky for me, I don't plan on cheating on my taxes. I will operate the business out of NY and obviously file for a foreign entity.
Actually, I am interested in hearing all sides to this topic. It's obvious you don't have the experience regarding this topic so don't just assume what I want to hear.
Well that is your opinion, based off of your experience. I think there's a lot of potential here but we need everyone to actually work together. Politics ruined the state.
The thing is, I spoke to an agent in Indiana, and he said most companies quote on where you garage the trucks ie. where the trucks are parked when not at work.
